The 3 star Hotel Zarenhof – which means the court of the czars - is situated right in the centre of Berlin. It is dedicated to the memory of the last Russian czar, Nikolai II., and his family. Nikolai II. was one of the most dramatic personalities in history. His name remains until this day a symbol of the depth of the Russian soul and a myth of the great Russian monarchy. The 19th century building in which the hotel is situated has been renovated carefully and decorated with affection. The elegant interior reminds of the Russian “Silver decade” which can be compared with the twenties in Germany. A gallery of majestic portraits of the czar and his wife, pictures of the czar’s children and photographs of the turn of the century grace the hallways, the apartments and the dining room. The splendid mirrors and jewellery decorations, worked in the tradition of the master Fabergé, give the house an unique and aristocratic atmosphere.
The hotel „Zarenhof“ situated in the heart of Berlin is only 2 minutes walk from the metro. The famous Scheunenviertel with Friedrichstraße is one of the oldest quarters of the city at a distance of only 350 metres.
